Anyone who has an aquarium knows how wonderful and educational this hobby is. I would like to help people to enjoy the hobby by teaching them as much as posible about Tropical fish.

On this site, I'm going to talk about my own experience with tropical fish . I'll give a bit of history on the subject itself, as well as some background on how I got involved in it. I might also include some instructions on how to set upp an aquarium, as well as any tips or tricks I've acquired through the years. And, of course, I'll include pictures of different species of fish along, with discription and information on how to keep them.
Also feel free to contribute to this site with your own tips.

On the left here are a pair of Turquoise Discus which originate from the Amazon river area's and on the right is a Firemouth Cichlid. If you're interested in purchasing any fish check out Photo Album.

Here an Oscar allows itself to be petted. Oscars are very social and intelligent fish. They can identify their owners and shun anyone else they don't reconize.

Here is a South American Cichlid, one of many cichlids from Central and South America.
This is a Firemouth Cichlid which is not a community fish. Firemouth,s are very agressive and should only be placed in with other Cichlids the same size.
